U.S. liberal and conservative right media outlets are constantly nit-picking and belittling Biden's presidency in a number of small and big ways - some in constant subtle ways (CNN) but most in lying, misinforming ways e.g., Fox News, other conservative news outlets, and Republican national and local politicians. It's sickening to see this happening. I think Biden's fumbles are grossly repetitively overstated or untruthfully attributed to him. Can you imagine what Trump would have done wrong if he were in office 2021 to now and through 2024?
Biden does not play the political role of being an inspiring man - but he certainly knows what he is doing, and that he’s not perfect. He's open and honest in going for fundamental changes to the many huge, severe societal problems facing us. He tries to work with Republicans. But they are determined to block his every policy move by a constant wave of lies and personal defamation of his leadership capability. This madness and that of the media are only ensuring that the mentally deranged Trump will win his 2nd rerun for the presidency in 2024. Any global professional poll (e.g. the Gallup poll) taken of the Europeans' choice between Biden and Trump for President of America in these menacing times would show Biden as the overwhelmingly choice by at least 70% of Europeans. Constantly, claims of Biden’s fumbles or omissions are taken out of context, repetitively overstated or untruthfully attributed to him.
The mix of internal, critical problems Trump left behind and new ones hitting America like Russia's invasive, murderous, warring machine against Ukraine have been literally gigantic and complex ... but Biden has remained, with few exceptions, cool and strategically well-focused. He has a smart, alert and wise thinking administration around him that mutually and respectively listen to each other - unlike leaders like the tyrannical Putin and maniacally egocentric, divisive Trump.
For example, Biden with his administration took the initiative on going for very TOUGH sanctions' in his response to the Putin regime. The West now finances Russia's war by sending Putin over $700 million dollars per day for gas-oil supplies. Biden is aware how the EU and others have made themselves dependent, and have been naive and soft in dealing with Putin. The late John McCain's words are right on, "Russia is a 'tank station' disguised as a land."
That raises the obvious question, what if we in the western world or Putin's regime stop the tanking? The transition to green energy is not possible overnight. But we can work together with other nations on that challenge and that is going to accelerate the transition to green energy. As one Dutch analyst wrote, “Don Quichot fought against windmills. The assumption was he was fighting against dangers which really didn't exist. But we are confronted with dangers now that are becoming the reality. We must fight back with wind molens, the sun, all forms of sustainable energies and related actions.”
Biden is way ahead on the climate problem as he has been on many other serious problems. The Republicans are killing all his efforts in their eagerness to regain full political power. They use the standard Republican hyped attacks and propagandistic, ad hominem arguments that have cumulatively gotten the U.S. in its current social, economic, political MESS over the past 40 years. Biden knows this and wants to reach constructive compromise with Republicans. But all they do is shovel disgracefully false critique upon our president every chance they can to disgrace his presidency.
I Thank God for the ordinary, straight thinking, down-to-earth Joe Biden and his leadership presence in the White House in these incredibly polarized, unstable, perilous times ... Thank God NOT DONALD TRUMP - our roundly defeated ex-president who was an absolute, disastrous failure at the job … and would be again if elected in 2024.
