Dear friends,
Well, we got here. The last day of a very challenging year. I had big plans for 2020, beginning with a women’s retreat on the ocean in Santa Cruz. That went away quickly as we entered a new reality. We have been through troubled times before, but not on such a Global scale; not since World War II. Our hearts were broken as we witnessed suffering and death, violence in the streets; the loss of livelihoods; music and the arts diminished; our neighbors lining up for food. Now we are entering 2021 with high hopes for healing of all kinds.
Let’s get real. What we want is a different kind of shared life. We want goodness to prevail, compassion to be common. We want our children to be safe and respected, our difference to be celebrated, our planet to be cherished. There are so many issues, but they all require one leap of awareness. We are the people of planet earth, all of us. We are the current highest evolution of consciousness in our species. We have an open doorway to an infinite intelligence, which is ready to co create with us. We are One with all life, the entire universe, the folks next door and across ocean. We are capable of making all things new.
Patriarchy must die, in ourselves and our governments. The other half of our nature (the Feminine) must be welcomed into every conversation, every decision, every policy making session, on any level. Without it, we could easily perish. The important thing to know right now is simple: We do nothing of ourselves, by ourselves. The Power within does all the work by means of us. We begin by turning within and asking for its help.
Affirm: “Beloved God within, I am your servant. Make me a channel for your infinite love and intelligence.”
