Frank Thomas thinks so. He sent me this:
News just out is that the FBI is charging six men accused in a plot to KIDNAP the Michigan Governor!!
This is an example of the extent Trump has been spreading hatred throughout the U.S. Just 3 days ago,
David Gergen, an admired advisor to a number of presidents said, very unexpected of him, that our nation
is in the grip of a MADMAN! AMEN to THAT!!
Trump is a mentally sick man and 90% of the Republican House of Representatives and Senate are not
standing up to him. They are all bloody COWARDS willing to put our nation at risk by ignoring fact we
are in the hands of a president who has been judged in a letter by 27 psychologists and psychiatrists as
being UNFIT for the presidency because he is, obviously in their view, an extremely unstable leader
who has all the mental disabilities of a NARCISSISTIC SOCIOPATH.
GOD HELP OUR NATION.
More and more, much respected men and women are coming out and saying more or less the same thing. Does it matter to Trump's base? Probably not. It might matter to some of the swing voters, however. There are indications that a lot of them have had it up to here with Trump's shenanigans. And the polls show Biden and Harris well ahead of Trump and Pence. But what really matters is just a few voters in battleground states where the vote was extremely close last time. Trump just squeaked by in a few states, even in those states where the polls showed Hillary was ahead. The popular vote will probably not even be close this time, but the electoral college distorts the popular vote making just a few key voters in a few key districts overwhelmingly important.
The best case scenario is that Biden-Harris voters show large returns early. The fact that more Democrats than Republicans seem inclined to vote by mail might show an early lead for Trump which will evaporate later as all the votes are counted. This could be problematic though as Trump might declare victory before all the votes are counted and then claim that the election was rigged when it becomes clear that Biden has won. In the final analysis, if Biden and Harris win decisively, there won't be much Trump can do but to leave office.
