Arthur Schopenhauer:
Every truth passes through three stages before it is recognized.
In the first, it is ridiculed
In the second it is opposed
In the third it is regarded as self-evident.
Down through the ages, many great minds have been either crucified or relegated to the crackpot list, only to be proven right much later. Be patient with humanity as it tries to grasp the full implications of oneness. Be patient while humanity releases superstition and welcomes science into its world view. Be patient as old prejudices die in the light of spiritual awakening. Be patient while the world wakes up to the reality of our planet as our Mother.
Being patient does not mean we stop making our voices heard or cease to protest or not vote. Being patient in this sense is a kind of faith and trust in the deeper and higher nature of humans. It is a testament to our personal conviction that we live in a spiritual universe governed by spiritual laws, which, when perceived and accepted, offer us the opportunity to consciously create our shared reality.
The effects of our unconscious acts against Nature were first ridiculed; then opposed, now it is becoming self-evident as the polar ice melts and the air is unbreatheable and the oceans are polluted; as species die off and children are born with severe allergies. We have played a huge part in the destruction of our environment. It is self-evident.
Along the way we will also realize that the human mind is the link to God. We will throw out old ideas of Man-in-the-sky and look to the power within to make all things new. We will bring forth the missing Feminine. We will amaze ourselves with the right use of Mind. Don’t wait, but be patient.
