Great News!

Elizabeth Warren announced her student loan cancellation plan in April. We were interviewed by Vice News about this, and we were quite critical. We lamented the fact that Warren taught bankruptcy for years, yet didn't mention bankruptcy at all in her press release.
Well...I received a note yesterday from one of her staffers to inform me (and I have confirmed) that Senator Warren has modified her plan to include the full return of bankruptcy rights- precisely as it does for S. 1414 and HR. 2648, and the bill that they recently introduced in the Senate which reflects this!
So...THEY ARE LISTENING TO US!
I hope you are all pleased. This puts us in a position to push both Warren and ALL the candidates to go the FINAL STEP, and pledge to issue an executive order (if necessary) that calls for the Department of Education to cease challenging student loan filers in bankruptcy court. This would give us the certainty we need to give them a full-throated endorsement. I think we can do this. See the video above.

Our recent move into our new digs has depleted our reserves, as expected. We REALLY have to shore up our funds as soon as possible. It is getting quite critical.

I hope you are happy with all that we are getting done, and all that we are poised, now, to get done. We really are kicking butt over here and moving the needle.
