Rupert Sheldrake, the scientist who conceived of the theory of morphic resonance, saw our unconscious mind as a field and the conscious mind as creativity. This is completely in line with New Thought spirituality that sees the vast unconscious as not only a field of possibility, but also our link with all other beings who share the field, collectively. It is our conscious mind that selects what to draw from the field and to act on or feel or allow. Too often we allow our mind to draw only from the most recent deposits in the field, which would be our own personal history.
The practice of inner silence is the vehicle that takes us into the deeper realms of the field; that is, to bypass our own stored up images and to access the infinite realm of potentialities. This is the best kept secret on the planet. This, alone, grants us power beyond any we have ever known. This is the way the human leaps out of the mud into the blue sky, as it were, where anything is possible and whatever we choose to promote finds its way into our shared reality.
Matthew Fox said when Augustine brought Original Sin into the theology of the day, he created a great wound that we have endured for over 1600 years. It is the loss of Grace and unconditional love that we are meant to know firsthand as the Presence of our Source. But as “sinners” we must bow down to priests and kings (and pay dearly ) to be granted Grace. You can see what this has done to the power structures of the church. Today we are waking up to the fraudulent claims of those who would enslave us. Let’s get real with our perception of our place in the universe. It is in the lap of Mother Nature and she is singing us into consciousness.
Stay tuned in,
