OUTRAGEOUS: Google Still Provides a Link to ISIS Propaganda Magazine - Rumiyah
by John Lawrence
Even after the New York truck killer, who was inspired by ISIS propaganda including the magazine, Rumiyah, admitted as much, Google still links to it. What are you guys thinking? All ISIS propaganda material should be banned from the web. Free speech be damned. These lone wolves like Saipov are taking inspiration from them.
Here's a sampling from Rumiyah:
Therefore, O lions of the Ummah, and those living in Australia in particular, follow the path of these righteous souls for there is no other path. The Khilafah has called for you to mobilize from your dens to alleviate the pain afflicting the hearts of the Muslims by striking the kuffar [nonbelievers] in their homelands. It is only from the hikmah of Allah that he has scattered you around the earth and in the various lands of the Crusaders to see which of you are best in deeds.
So here before you are the doors of jihad – unhinged, and in their lands! Light the ground beneath them aflame and scorch them with terror. Kill them on the streets of Brunswick, Broadmeadows, Bankstown, and Bondi. Kill them at the MCG [Melbourne Cricket Ground], the SCG [Sydney Cricket and Sports Grounds], the Opera House, and even in their backyards. Stab them, shoot them, poison them, and run them down with your vehicles. Kill them wherever you find them until the hollowness of their arrogance is filled with terror and they find themselves on their knees with their backs broken under the weight of regret for having waged a war against the believers, and by Allah’s will, and then through your sacrifices, this Ummah [the Islamic state] will be victorious.
So Google is linking to a terrorist organization's propaganda materials? What else is out there on the internet for other vulnerable minds to absorb? It needs to be taken down. We shouldn't be giving ISIS or any other terrorist organization access to the minds of Muslims living in our country or any country for that matter. The Silicon Valley high tech executives sit before the Congressional committee so innocently, but they are giving a sounding board to ISIS on their platforms. They need to do something about it.
Saipov's phone was loaded with propaganda videos. Where did he get them? Whatever sites are providing them need to be taken down. We shouldn't be giving a platform to those whose mission is to kill as many of us as possible. The Constitution calls for Free Speech, but this kind of speech including hate speech of neo-Nazis shouldn't be tolerated for it is propaganda with the intent of recruitment. I guess it worked perfectly in the case of Saipov who is proud of what he did mowing down and killing eight innocent people. He even wanted an ISIS flag hung in his room!
