Expert piano technicians are often unfortunately the unsung heroes of the music world. They go about their exacting duties out of the limelight and unknown for the most part, but any working pianist will tell you how much we appreciate and how fortunate we are to have these quality professionals applying their craftsmanship and expertise in situations varying from symphony halls to private homes, and to often noisy, crowded restaurants and clubs.
Bud Fisher is one of the longtime respected giants of this field here in the San Diego area. All of those contributing their talents and time for Bud on July 22 regret that the serious recent surgery he has undergone brings us all together, but we are also grateful for the opportunity to show our appreciation for him and his fellows who pursue the demanding art of piano care for all of us.
